An Essay I wrote in English...

Okay, I don't have anything to say... So I decided to post some of my most recent writing! YaY! Well, enjoy my essay (we were learning about the "voice" trait, so hopefully you can hear the voice in it...)

A Trip to the Moon
Some say it's made of cheese, some say it's a man's face, but no one really, truly knew until Neil Armstrong and his crew took a trip through space and set foot on this far-away destination. The moon had yet to be explored and President Nixon challenged the nation to complete this historic feat. If I could have, I would have accompanied these fine astronauts on their trip to outer space.
On July 16,1969, their spacecraft leaped from the Earth, escaping its boundaries. Though, within the rocket itself, many restraints were present (and unpleasant , I would think, if I were in their stead- you've just gone past the ends of the Earth and you're still being contained!). Though their physical bodies were within these belts and seats and suits and buttons, their emotions were free to run wild. I can imagine myself wanting to jump for joy at the sight of the nothingness of space, seeing my companions' smiling faces brightening its darkness. Still, it wasn't until after this four-day flight that the real fun began.
That wondrous day, July 20,1969 Neil Armstrong said those breathtaking words; "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." (These words are not to be confused with, "Houston, we have a problem" , or "To infinity and beyond!"). As he spoke, he took the first steps on the moon. A step is all it took to make the world turn its attention to that gleaming "rock" up in space.
I wish I could have taken that step. If I could have, I would have been there, in that day and time, I would have taken the few steps after Neil and his crew, and would have happily bathed in the glory of the moment, being a world away from home-literally- for just an hour, or maybe even a minute, or thirty seconds, it would be a dream come true.
